Eudrich Huysamen, ywerige renjaer, het Saterdag by die Swartland Oval Karting se uitdaging ‘n eerste plek behaal in sy afdeling. Huysamen se droom is om eendag professioneel hierdie sport te beoefen.

Gholfkampioen: Die klubkampioenskap van die Malmesbury Gholfklub, het Saterdag op hierdie baan plaasgevind. Peter Willemse het hierdie titel vir die 10de ingepalm. Hier is die naaswenners in die B-afdeling: John Smith 163, wenner in die B-afdeling was Faeez September, wenner van die A-afdeling is Peter Willemse met 143 en tweede was Doppies Coetzee met 155.

Die projek, ‘The Gràvitree Charity Shop’, is Saterdag, 17 April 2021, amptelik in Roosstraat by die Alfa Dienssentum (oorkant Wesbank Sportgronde) geopen.
Dit vorm deel van die ‘Effective Living Community Project’ wat al reeds bestaan en daarop gemik is om mense op te lei om selfonderhoudend en ekonomies onafhanklik te wees.
Die liefdadigheidswinkel, wat alles en nog wat sal verkoop, beoog om elke Dinsdag en Donderdag oop te wees vanaf 09h00 tot 15h00.
In samewerking met die ‘Effective Living’ projek, het Dencil Hattingh en Madelé Rinkwest nou ook by die span aangesluit
Hattingh wat onlangs sy boek, ‘It is never too late to be you’, bekend gestel het, beoog om deur middel van jeugprogramme ‘n verskil in jongmense se lewens te maak.
Terwyl Madelé, wat onlangs haar diploma in lewensafrigting verwerf het, die jeug wil oplei en hulle wil toerus vir die lewe.
‘n Markdag sal ook op die eerste en derde Saterdag van elke maand by die dienssentrum gehou word.

The 10th of April 2021 marked the Revd Canon Craig Abrahams’ 8th year and 1 month anniversary at the parish of St Thomas the Apostle in Malmesbury.
To date, this is the longest period of time that he shared his ministry with a parish. It was therefore laden with a bittersweet undertone, as he officiated and shared his ministry with this parish for the last time on Sunday, the 18th of April 2021.
The Parish of St Thomas the Apostle, Malmesbury wishes to thank him for serving their parish and sharing his spiritual gifts with them.
For unselfishly sacrificing his time to spiritually uplift and guide young and old.
As Father Craig is starting a new chapter in his life, the parish is praying for God’s hand over his spiritual and emotional well-being. Hoping that ‘the road will always rise to meet him’ as in accordance with the well known Irish blessing.

Following the discovery of five suspected cases of African Horse Sickness (AHS) on a farm within the Cederberg Local Municipal area the Western Cape Provincial Veterinary Laboratory confirms that samples from a recent death tested positive for the AHS virus’s presence.
A preliminary outbreak-controlled area which includes the Cederberg Local Municipality has now been established. The borders are:
• An eastern border delineated by the border between the Western Cape Province and the Northern Cape Province.
• A western border delineated by the Atlantic Ocean.
• A northern border following the existing AHS protection zone border

• from the Atlantic Ocean (between Cape Donkin and Lamberts Bay)
• crossing the N7 4.5 km south of Trawal and indicated by an AHS controlled area signboard
• following the Cederberg local municipality border east along the Doring river until the Northern Cape/Western Cape boundary

• A southern border following the Cederberg Local Municipality border.

• east from the Atlantic Ocean, approximately 14.5km south of Elandsbaai
• linking to the N7 at the western base of the Piekenierskloof pass
• following the N7 to the R303 at Citrusdal
• following the R303 for approximately 19km to the Middelberg mountains to link back to the southern border of the Cederberg Local Municipality and to extend east to the border between the Western Cape Province and the Northern Cape Province.
  No equines (horses, donkeys, zebras) will be allowed to move out of, into, through or within the outbreak-controlled area without a permit issued by the Western Cape Department of Agriculture’s Veterinary Services.
