On 1 April 2021, Estelle and Savy Ciaglia became the proud owners of the Maki-Saki Guesthouse in Yzerfontein.
Their vision was to create an intimate, upmarket, and affordable boutique spa that provides more than just accommodation to its guests. Renovations started on 1 April and on the 1st of August the new Maki-Saki Boutique Spa and Self-Catering Accommodation opened its doors to the public.
Positioned a mere 120 meters from the beach, you will find this “gem” that boasts views of the sea. Characterized by the same glory and legacy it has been known for over the past years, but now being able to complement its unique offering synonymous with its 21st century luxury. Guests can enjoy an indoor jacuzzi, heated pool, indoor braai facilities, boutique gym, relaxation areas, wooden deck overlooking the waves crashing on the rocks. Complimentary to this is the beautiful, renovated self-catering apartment for 6 people. It offers 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, open-plan kitchen/living area, DSTV, Netflix, Wi-Fi, courtyard, tanning deck and safe & secure parking. Whilst being our guest at the establishment, the facilities will not be shared with anybody else, thus providing our guests with the exclusive use of the facility.
The on-site professional beauty salon offers an array of relaxing treatments and packages for your enjoyment. Full and half day spa packages is also available for day visitors!. On 1 January 2022 Maki-Saki will launch it’s first day-spa for kids between 6 – 14 years of age.
